Hamish graduated from Massey University in 1985 and has gained a wealth of clinical and surgical experience over the ensuing years. He has excellent surgical skills with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery.
Hamish has a very gentle manner with pets and as the owner of cats, dogs, birds (and even snakes from his earlier years living in South Africa) he has a life time of knowledge on animal care and health.
Hamish's other passion is competitive Laser sailing at a national and international level and he has achieved 3rd place in the Masters World champs in Hayling Island.

Karen graduated from Massey University with distinction in 1990 and has been in clinical practice ever since.
Karen and Hamish have two sons, Craig and Brad, a cat 'Dash' and a Cocker Spaniel 'Becky'.
From a very young age Karen has always wanted to be a vet and thoroughly enjoys helping people care for their precious pets.
Karen has extensive experience in medical and surgical care of pets, is passionate about continuing education and has a particular interest in dermatology
